Very Early C6 Christmas Light Outfit Featuring Lantern Shaped Lamps. Outfit characterized by composition sockets, green mercerized cotton wrap wiring, early black plug and unique electrical connector, original wire tag with patent and manufacturing information. Eight light set has cloth tag with PAT. 21st, 1924" above "MANUFACTURE LISCENSED above PAT. 1512888" on one side and 94434" on the reverse side.

Set uses two blade electrical plug invented in 1925. Possibly made by one of the NOMA group companies such as Triangle Electric Intl. Trading, ISCO and Beacon (all 1925 companies).

Most sets like this were expensive and owned primarily by the wealthy or rented for the season by the average family from an electrical supply or hardware store. Twelve bulbs in excellent condition and very minor paint loss - all currently operating. Sorry, compensation for non functioning vintage/antique lamps is not available. Condition is outstanding for a 90+ year old set. FROM VIRGINIA'S BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS AND SHENANDOAH VALLEY come our special antique finds as well as our fabulous Christmas antiques and prized vintage holiday collectibles.

Our goal is highest quality, absolute truth and value for you. Our unique business history is built on specialized home decor retail stores, nationally marketed catalog sales of classic holiday selections and the establishment of a museum of Christmas decor found in early American homes. Our newest venture, Evergreen Emporium, successfully continues this special heritage.
